Go to the nearest Location that offers the Western Union Money Transfer ® service and present  to the operator a valid identification document. Communicate orally the name and surname of the receiver, the place where you will send the money and the amount you want to send. The employee will inform you of the fees that apply and the exchange rate that can be used. Hand over the amount that you will send and the respective commission to the operator.

Your data will be registered in the system and the operator will complete the “To send money” form. Check if the information on the “To send money” form is OK and sign this document. After you have submitted the signed form  and the amount you will send, the operator will return your identification document together with a copy of the ” To send money ” form with the 10 digits Money Transfer Control Number ( MTCN) and the amount you send.

Money will be available to withdraw in a few minutes * after you have received the Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN). Then you can call the receiver and notify that money can be withdrawn at any Western Union agency. In order to withdraw the money, the receiver must have a valid identification document, the sender’s name and surname, the country where the money is sent from and the expected amount of money. The receiver must also provide the correct Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN).
