Content 1Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN) is a noted number by the Western Union® clerk, that helps Western Union® to control all the money transfer cases, even the transfer is made by phone or via the Internet, also you can control it by using the Internet. Click here. The Sender should give this number to the Receiver, in order that money can be received easily by the Receiver in the nearest Agent Location.

First, make sure you supply your correct contact details in case Western Union® needs to contact you. Secondly, make sure to have your recipient’s full name and address correct so they will not have any problems in picking up the money with their identification card. Communicate the MTCN number to your recipient to ease the pick-up process.

In addition to the transfer fees applicable to this transaction, a currency exchange rate set by Western Union will be applied.
